Oh yeah... can't forget that Elizabeth got her first driving lesson with Daddy when he got home from work! :)

Saturday, we hit up Chick-fil-a for lunch before heading to SAMS to pick up some yummy steaks! Alan mowed the yard and then I cleaned (and Alan was a HUGE help cleaning, too!) in order to get the house put together since we were having some friends over for dinner. One of our Sunday School couples also lives in our subdivision! It's so fun to get to carpool to all the events together - I never have to go alone! ;) We've been meaning to get together for a while, and I knew it had to be done before they have their little girl and we have David! So we had them over for steak and potatoes. They brought delicious potatoes, it was kind of funny because it is very similar to a recipe that my mom makes, so you know that they would be good.

Sunday, we headed to church, lunch at Papasitos, and then home for Elizabeth to take a nap... Or so we thought... I was all prepared to take a nap while she was sleeping, but no dice. Miss E decided that she was too good for a nap (or it might've been the fact that she decided to dirty her diaper not even 10 minutes after we put a clean one on her). Instead, we played in the living room and watched the Olympics! She had tons of fun putting her sunglasses on and taking them off, going into her room and sitting in her dolls chairs, and just hanging out with Mommy and Daddy!

All in all, a very fun weekend was had! :)
