David's Second Birthday Party!

David had a great birthday party this year! It was pretty small, but everyone had a blast! My parents, both of Alan's sisters and their families, and one of our friends and their family came. Much fun was had by all the kids in the bounce house and playing all around our backyard!

David wasn't too much on all the attention that singing "Happy Birthday" brought. He buried his head in my neck and didn't look up until everyone was done singing. It was pretty cute, if you ask me!

All in all, David had a great birthday hanging out with friends and family! Can't wait to see everyone again soon!

Weekend Recap

I have a ton of updating to do... most importantly being our sweet girl turned 3! But the kids are not napping today, so this will have to be short and sweet...

This weekend we headed to Abilene. Alan's PaPaw turned 90 on the 29th, so we went to a surprise party thrown by his three kids. We got there Friday afternoon (Alan took a half day so we could make it to Abilene in time for dinner). We ate a yummy dinner of BBQ and mac and cheese and Elizabeth got to open her birthday presents! She got some fun pjs, a cute outfit, some jewelry, and (most importantly), Frozen! She watched it several times over the weekend, but never all at once. :)

PawPaw (Alan's dad) got out the coin machine and Elizabeth and David both enjoyed playing with it!

On Saturday, we headed about an hour north for the party. Grammie and her two brothers (and sil) did an excellent job getting everything put together! It was held at a local dance hall, and we had tons of fun dancing the night away! Both Elizabeth and David were enthralled by the band and had the time of their lives dancing and listening to the music.

Elizabeth's Pinkalicious 3rd Birthday!

Elizabeth wanted a Pinkalicious birthday party this year, and I was happy to oblige! A HUGE thanks go to one of my friends, Shelly, because she had already done a Pinkalicious party so I got to borrow all of the decorations!! I made the cupcakes and we had tons of fun pink food! She's already decided that she wants a purple birthday next year...

One of Alan's good friends was in town from Alabama, so we were able to have him, his wife, and daughter come to the party! It was so much fun to see B.J., Michelle, and Brady!!
