Our Little Man at 19 and 20 months!

I have just been absolutely horrible about taking my camera out and taking pictures of both kiddos. I tend to take quite a few pictures with my iphone, but don't do a great job of posting even those pictures.  Not too much has changed between month 19 and 20, aside from using more sentences, but here are a couple things that I definitely wanted to remember!

General Stats

  • You wear 24 month clothes and size 4 diapers. Your 24 month one piece outfits (aside from the smocked clothes) are too small now, though. Makes me sad because I just love the one piece outfits! You're growing up sooo fast!
  • You LOVE water. You put your head under, jump, do just about anything to stay immersed.
  • You've gotten to be a bit pickier with eating - sometimes you hardly touch anything other than milk and other times you eat all the time.
  • You still adore your big sister and follow her everywhere!

Month 19
  • Two days after you turned 18 months old, you started using some two word sentences. The first two were "drop it" and "get it." Now you are also using "hold you," "eat it," "open it," and several more.
  • My absolute favorite this month is when you want me to hold your hand. You stick your hand out and say "hann?" And as soon as I put my hand out you grab my fingers. Talk about melting my heart! You are such a sweetheart!!!

Month 20
  • You are a Momma's boy through and through! I absolutely adore it, but I know sometimes it might be hard on Daddy when you just want Mommy. Luckily, that's mainly at bedtime - as soon as Daddy comes home from work it's all about him... until it's time for bed... ;)

Our Trip to Turks and Caicos (part 1)

We had a blast at the beach with my parents! I highly recommend the beach we were at (which I can't remember the name of for the life of me) if you have small children! It was so shallow for so far! The kids could venture pretty far out and still be able to touch - amazing! We had a lot of fun swimming, eating, and playing at the villa we stayed at. The kids were hit or miss with the ocean/sand, but as a whole, I would say they enjoyed it a lot! We pretty much just hung out around the villa/beach most of the day, but went out for dinner - my kind of vacation! Alan and I went out to dinner one evening while my parents and Aunt "Shelle stayed home, and another evening they went out while Alan and I stayed home with the kids. I didn't take a ton of pictures with my camera, but here are the ones I did take...

The beautiful view from our villa

Elizabeth got this little puppy on one of our shopping trips and it never leaves her side... She named her Gracie II (after our dog Gracie) and still loves that dog to pieces.
