38 Weeks with RJ!

I've successfully surpassed my pregancy length with RJ in relation to David (but I know I won't surpass Elizabeth's... She didn't come until after 41 weeks.). And, surprisingly, this is the ONLY pregnancy I've had without any blood pressure issues and the pregnancy I've gained the least amount with! My blood pressure has been phenomenal, and I just am so excited that at least that one thing is normal. :)

How far along? 38 weeks

Baby's size? Swiss Chard (19-22 inches, 6.8 pounds) At my appointment Friday, sweet baby was weighing in between        7 - 7 1/2 lbs!!

Gender? It's a baby girl! Rebekah Jo!

Maternity clothes? Yes, minus a few t-shirts and dresses

Weight Gain? I'm hovering between 20-22 lbs. Which means I hopefully won't gain more than 25 pounds.

Stretch marks? Yup, but they're all below my belly button, which I guess is the best place to be...

Belly button in or out? Flat, but the very top is slightly sticking out. It looks extremely weird!

Sleeping? Some nights are good and some are not...

Foods I'm loving? Just about anything, especially hamburgers and Mexican food!!

Foods I'm hating? Nothing really!

Best moment this week? I am officially done with prenatal appointments!!

Movement? Yes, but not as strong as before. She must be running out of room because I feel more stretching and rolling now as opposed to kicks and jabs.

What I'm looking forward to? Meeting our sweet girl in no more than a week! She can come anytime after Friday!

What I'm missing? Sleep! Haha. And being able to get up/turn over with ease. Putting kiddos down for bedtime and naptime has started to become a bit rough...

Symptoms? Frequent potty breaks, exhaustion, food cravings/aversions, and my fingers and feet have started to swell a bit.

Milestones? 1 week to go! And I've gotten all of the bags back that I need to (from my hospital bag, to my after the hospital bag, to all the essentials you'll need when away from home for an unknown period of time). Plus I'm about halfway done packing the kids bags!

Emotions? They've been pretty good! I love knowing there is an end in sight and that hopefully around this time next week we'll know more about what is going on!

37 Weeks with Rebekah Jo!

I actually took a picture, but can't find the cord to connect my camera to the computer... Stay tuned for that...

How far along? 37 weeks

Baby's size? Winter Melon (19-22 inches, 6.5 pounds) At my appointment last Tuesday, sweet baby was weighing in at 6 lbs, 6 oz!

Gender? It's a baby girl! Rebekah Jo!

Maternity clothes? Yes, minus a few t-shirts and dresses

Weight Gain? I'm hovering between 20-22 lbs. Which means I hopefully won't gain more than 25 pounds.

Stretch marks? Yup, but they're all below my belly button, which I guess is the best place to be...

Belly button in or out? In, but the very top is slightly sticking out. It looks extremely weird!

Sleeping? Some nights are good and some are not...

Foods I'm loving? Just about anything, especially hamburgers and Mexican food!!

Foods I'm hating? Nothing really!

Best moment this week? We finally completed RJ's nursery this weekend! I'll have to do a tour of her room soon.

Movement? Yes, but not as strong as before. She must be running out of room because I feel more stretching and rolling now as opposed to kicks and jabs.

What I'm looking forward to? Meeting our sweet girl and making the unknown known (more on that later...)!

I made the mistake of wearing too tight of shoes to church on Sunday and paid for that the rest of the day.

Milestones? 2 weeks to go! And I've gotten all of the bags back that I need to (from my hospital bag, to my after the hospital bag, to all the essentials you'll need when away from home for an unknown period of time).

Emotions? Ok... My spirits have been pretty good the last week. Still ready for Rebekah to get here and find out what all is happening. Praying for answers and peace for the remainder of the time I'm carrying our sweet girl!

36 Weeks with RJ!

How far along? 36 weeks

Baby's size? Large Cantaloupe (20 inches, 6 pounds) At my appointment yesterday, sweet baby was weighing in at 6 lbs, 6 oz!

And our sweet David has been waking up super early, which this non-morning person is not a fan of. Haha

Foods I'm loving? Just about anything, especially hamburgers and Mexican food!!

Foods I'm hating? Nothing really!

Best moment this week? Alan finished another flowerbed this weekend! It looks great! Two more to go... but those are going to wait until spring. I also finally got the nursery cleaned and organized!

Movement? Most definitely!

What I'm looking forward to? Meeting our sweet girl and making the unknown known (more on that later...)! Her letters arrived yesterday, so hopefully sometime this week Alan can get them up on the wall!!

What I'm missing? Sleep! Haha. And being able to get up/turn over with ease. Putting kiddos down for bedtime and naptime has started to become a bit rough...

Symptoms? Frequent potty breaks, exhaustion, food cravings/aversions, and my fingers have started to swell. I bet a lot of it is due to the heat, but it's still no fun...

Milestones? 3 weeks to go... We are delivering in Houston due to some unplanned events, so I will be induced at 39 weeks. Pray that I make it to my induction date (I don't want to drive to Houston in labor...) and for peace and answers once sweet Rebekah is here!

Emotions? Ok... I've had a couple rough weeks, but my spirits have been pretty high for the last week. Praying for answers and peace for the remainder of the time I'm carrying our sweet girl!

35 Weeks with Rebekah Jo!

I'm cheating a little with this picture... We took maternity pictures over the weekend, so I'm going to use one of those. :) I spent the entire day today cooking/doing laundry, so I didn't get dressed nice enough to take pictures...

How far along? 35 weeks

Baby's size? Canary Melon (19-22 inches, 5.5 pounds) At our last ultrasound (Sept. 11), our perinatologist had her weighing in at 5 lbs, 13 oz.

Gender? It's a baby girl! Rebekah Jo!

Maternity clothes? Yes, minus a few t-shirts and dresses

Weight Gain? I know I didn't gain any weight between 32-34 weeks, so I'm guessing my total is around 20 lbs

Stretch marks? Yup, but they're all below my belly button, which I guess is the best place to be...

Belly button in or out? In, but the very top is slightly sticking out. It looks extremely weird!

Sleeping? Some nights are good and some are not...

Foods I'm loving? Just about anything!

Foods I'm hating? Nothing really!

Best moment this week? Having family in town for a diaper shower my sweet friends threw! And we finally took maternity pictures! They turned out amazing.

Movement? Most definitely!

What I'm looking forward to? Meeting our sweet girl and making the unknown known (more on that later...)! Also, her letters should be here this weekend, so hopefully we'll finish up Rebekah's room!

Milestones? 4 weeks to go... We are delivering in Houston due to some unplanned events, so I will be induced at 39 weeks. Pray that I make it to my induction date (I don't want to drive to Houston in labor...) and for peace and answers once sweet Rebekah is here!

Emotions? Ok... I've had a couple rough weeks, hence no weekly updates, but we're all good.

32 Weeks with RJ!

How far along? 32 weeks

Baby's size? Head of Lettuce (19 inches, 3.9 pounds)

Gender? It's a baby girl! Rebekah Jo!

Maternity clothes? Yes, minus a few t-shirts and dresses

Weight Gain? Not Sure...

Stretch marks? Yup, but they're all below my belly button, which I guess is the best place to be...

Belly button in or out? In, but the very top is slightly sticking out. It looks extremely weird! At least you can't tell when I'm wearing clothes.

Sleeping? Some nights are good and some are not...

Foods I'm loving? Just about anything!

Foods I'm hating? Nothing really!

Best moment this week? Having the nursery completely set up, minus the letters that Alan surprised me with - they won't be in for a couple more weeks, though!

Movement? Most definitely!

What I'm looking forward to? Meeting our sweet girl!

Milestones? Not too much longer!

Emotions? Ok... I've had a couple rough weeks, hence no weekly updates, but we're all good.

How far along? 29 weeks

Baby's size? Small cabbage (17 inches, 2.9 pounds)

Gender? It's a baby girl! Rebekah Jo!

Maternity clothes? Yes, but the past few weeks I've been wearing tank tops and regular athletic shorts as the pool is sooo hot and humid...

Weight Gain? 19 lbs!

Stretch marks? Not quite sure if I have new ones or not...

Belly button in or out? In, but getting flatter and flatter

Sleeping? Some nights are good and some are not...

Foods I'm loving? Just about anything!

Foods I'm hating? Nothing really!

Best moment this week? Watching Alan work on the backyard and complete even more!

Movement? Most definitely!

What I'm looking forward to? Getting sweet RJ's room finished... Our anniversary trip to Austin that's coming up... The kiddos getting to spend a week with my parents...

What I'm missing? Sleep! Haha

Symptoms? Frequent potty breaks, exhaustion, food cravings/aversions, and my fingers have started to swell. I bet a lot of it is due to the heat, but it's still no fun... And I might be looking at investing in a fake ring for the next 12 weeks

Milestones? I'm finally in the third trimester! 2/3 of the way done. ;)

Emotions? Pretty good this week!

28 Weeks with Rebekah Jo

Pardon the hair and make-up (or lack thereof)... The kids are taking swim lessons this week and next week. The upside is that it's indoors so we don't have to worry about sunscreen. The downside is that it's indoors so it's extremely humid and muggy... Haha

How far along? 28 weeks

Baby's size? Head of cauliflower (16 inches, 2.5 pounds) According to my latest ultrasound, RJ is weighing in at 2.8 lbs, which my doctor said was right on track!

Gender? It's a baby girl! Rebekah Jo!

Maternity clothes? I've mainly been wearing my maternity clothes lately, just to look a little nicer... But I can still rock the regular athletic shorts, tank tops, and some dresses.

Weight Gain? 19 lbs! Two pounds less than I had gained with David, which I will take seeing as I lost weight in the beginning with him. My OB thinks I'll gain between 25-30, which isn't that bad...

Stretch marks? Not quite sure if I have new ones or not...

Belly button in or out? In, but getting flatter and flatter

Sleeping? Some nights are good and some are not...

Foods I'm loving? Just about anything!

Foods I'm hating? Nothing really!

Best moment this week? Picking David up in Tyler! And seeing our backyard finally come together. Fingers crossed that the plants make it despite the 100+ weather...

Movement? Most definitely!

What I'm looking forward to? Getting sweet RJ's room finished...

27 Weeks with Rebekah Jo!

It's been 3 weeks since I've updated on sweet RJ... Life has been crazy busy and I just haven't taken the time to sit down and blog. I haven't taken a picture yet, but hopefully that'll come sometime this week...

How far along? 27 weeks

Baby's size? Cucumber (15 inches, 2.2 pounds) Well, looks like RJ might end up being slightly bigger than Miss E... On Friday, she was weighing in at almost 2.5 lbs! I know ultrasounds can be off, but that's significantly bigger than I expected!

Gender? It's a baby girl! Rebekah Jo!

Maternity clothes? I've mainly been wearing my maternity clothes lately, just to look a little nicer... But I can still rock the regular athletic shorts, tank tops, and some dresses.

Weight Gain? I've skipped the scales this month... Again... And I'm not looking forward to the scales at the doctor's office next Tuesday... I've been surrounded by such amazing food lately!

Stretch marks? Not quite sure if I have new ones or not...

Belly button in or out? In, but getting flatter and flatter

Sleeping? Better the past couple nights, but that's because I haven't been downing a HUGE glass of water right before bed. You would think I'd have learned by now... Haha

Foods I'm loving? Just about anything!

Foods I'm hating? Nothing really!

Best moment this week? We've been having tons of fun with just Elizabeth this week! She sure does miss her brother, though!

Movement? Most definitely! Her head is up and feet down, so that's been interesting - I don't think either E or D were ever like that.

What I'm looking forward to? Getting sweet RJ's room finished...

What I'm missing? Sleep! Haha

Symptoms? Frequent potty breaks, exhaustion, food cravings/aversions, and my fingers have started to swell. I bet a lot of it is due to the heat, but it's still no fun... And I might be looking at investing in a fake ring for the next 11 weeks

Milestones? Less than 100 days to go! Only 92 days until my actual due date, but she will most likely be here a bit early!

Emotions? Pretty good this week!

24 Weeks with Rebekah Jo!

How far along? 24 weeks and 1 day!

Baby's size? Ear of corn (8.5 inches, 1.5 pounds)

Gender? It's a baby girl! Rebekah Jo!

Maternity clothes? I've mainly been wearing my maternity clothes lately, just to look a little nicer... But I can still rock the regular athletic shorts, tank tops, and some dresses.

Weight Gain? Well, my doctor was right... This was my biggest weight gain month. I've gotta slow it down some. ;) I am currently up 14 pounds. But I can tell she had a couple growth spurts because there would be several days here and there that I could not eat enough... Just got to work on making sure I'm eating healthy food, not ice cream... Ha

Stretch marks? Not quite sure if I have new ones or not...

Belly button in or out? In, but getting flatter and flatter

Sleeping? Ok... Not the greatest, but not the worst!

Foods I'm loving? Just about anything! We had a roast the other day and instead of making it easy on myself and adding potatoes and carrots in the crockpot, I HAD to have mashed potatoes and candied carrots... It was pretty tasty!

Foods I'm hating? Nothing really!

Best moment this week? A super fun weekend with both church friends and at a minor league baseball game with Alan's company

Movement? Well, towards the end of the week I was feeling tons of movement on either side of my tummy. I had an ultrasound on Thursday and it turns out she was in the breech position. I am pretty sure she has flipped back to head down because the movement is more like rolling around and small jabs in the middle of my tummy again. One day Alan will get to feel her...

What I'm looking forward to? We started transforming the guest room over the weekend, but it's still a storage room for various thing. I can't wait until it's complete.

What I'm missing? Sleep! Haha

Symptoms? Frequent potty breaks, exhaustion, food cravings/aversions

Milestones? We've hit viability! I definitely hope she "cooks" quite a bit longer, but it's so reassuring to know that we have reached this milestone!

Emotions? Pretty good this week!

And here is a comparison of all three pregnancies at 24 weeks. I am definitely carrying lower than I was with either Elizabeth or David. I am also quite a bit bigger...

23 Weeks with Rebekah Jo!

How far along? 23 weeks!

Baby's size?  Papaya (8 inches, 1.2 pound)

Gender? It's a baby girl! Rebekah Jo!

Maternity clothes? I've mainly been wearing my maternity clothes lately, just to look a little nicer... But I can still rock the regular athletic shorts, tank tops, and some dresses.

Weight Gain? Will have a new number next Tuesday... Not quite sure I'm looking forward to that one, I definitely feel like Rebekah has gone through a growth spurt!

Stretch marks? Not quite sure if I have new ones or not...

Belly button in or out? In, but getting flatter and flatter

Sleeping? Ok... Not the greatest, but not the worst!

Foods I'm loving? For some reason, hot dogs/sausage with lots of mustard and relish! The beginning I detested the thought of hot dogs, but for some reason they taste so good now!

Foods I'm hating? Nothing really!

Best moment this week? We got to go to the Riddle Family Reunion over the weekend. Lots of fun seeing family!

Movement? Starting to feel her a bit more throughout the day! But nothing really strong enough for Alan to feel yet... That darn anterior placenta...

What I'm looking forward to? We are transforming the guest room to the nursery this weekend! I think we'll leave the crib as a bed for the time being, but at least I'll be able to set everything else up!

What I'm missing? Sleep

Symptoms? Frequent potty breaks, exhaustion, food cravings/aversions

Milestones? Next week is viability!!

Emotions? Pretty good this week!

22 Weeks with Baby #3

How far along? 22 weeks and 1 day!

Baby's size?  Spaghetti Squash (8 inches, 1 pound)

Gender? It's a baby girl! Rebekah Jo!

Maternity clothes? I've mainly been wearing my maternity clothes lately, just to look a little nicer... But I can still rock the regular athletic shorts, tank tops, and some dresses.

Weight Gain? As of two weeks ago, up 6 lbs. Not weighing until I go back in two weeks, although I think Rebekah had a growth spurt last week. I was starving all day long for 2-3 days and then went back to normal...

Stretch marks? Not quite sure if I have new ones or not...

Belly button in or out? In, but getting flatter and flatter

Sleeping? Ok... Not the greatest, but not the worst!

Foods I'm loving? Anything with beef! Current favorites are burgers, steak, grilled/roasted veggies, and corn on the cob with butter and lemon pepper! Chinese food is also a huge favorite!! Lettuce wraps from Pei Wei are delicious!!!

Foods I'm hating? Nothing really!

Best moment this week? Getting to see Alan after being away for almost a week.

Movement? Yes, I for sure feel her nightly while I'm trying to go to sleep. I found out I have anterior placenta, which means I probably won't feel her as much as I felt the other kiddos. Definitely makes me feel more relieved to know she's ok, though!

What I'm looking forward to? Alan is going to finish painting the trim in the nursery this week and then we'll hopefully start converting it from the guest room to the nursery!

What I'm missing? Not too much at this point!

Symptoms? Frequent potty breaks, exhaustion, food cravings/aversions

Milestones? We're over halfway there! Viability is in 2 weeks!

Emotions? Pretty good this week!

20 Weeks Pregnant with Rebekah Jo

How far along? 20 weeks and 1 day!

Baby's size?  Mango (6.5 inches, 10 ounces) But at my appointment last Friday, she was measuring at 11 ounces!

Gender? It's a baby girl! Rebekah Jo!

Maternity clothes? I've mainly been wearing my maternity clothes lately, just to look a little nicer... But I can still rock the regular athletic shorts, tank tops, and some dresses.

Weight Gain? I'm adding this back in for now, but I'm not weighing in weekly. So far I'm up 6 lbs, but my doctor said not to be shocked if I gain 6-12 pounds in the next 4 weeks. I sure hope not!!!
Stretch marks? No new ones yet.

Belly button in or out? In

Sleeping? I've been sleeping pretty good lately! ::knock on wood::

Foods I'm loving? Anything with beef! Current favorites are burgers, steak, grilled/roasted veggies, and corn on the cob with butter and lemon pepper! Chinese food is also a huge favorite!! Lettuce wraps from Pei Wei are delicious!!!

Foods I'm hating? Nothing really!

Best moment this week? Getting two ultrasounds on two different days! Plus celebrating my birthday and getting sweet Elizabeth back from Gammie and Pop's house!

Movement? Yes, I for sure feel her nightly while I'm trying to go to sleep. I found out I have anterior placenta, which means I probably won't feel her as much as I felt the other kiddos. Definitely makes me feel more relieved to know she's ok, though!

What I'm looking forward to? Alan is going to paint the nursery next week while the kids and I are visiting my MeMaw! He's also going to refinish the built-in desk in Rebekah's room, which we're going to use as her changing table! And I'm definitely looking forward to spending lots of time in my parent's pool! Hopefully I'll come home with a bit of a tan!

What I'm missing? Not too much at this point!

Symptoms? Frequent potty breaks, exhaustion, food cravings/aversions

Milestones? We're halfway there! Although, if I'm lucky, I only have about 18 weeks to go. It's going so fast! Also, 4 weeks until viability! Can't believe that's almost here!

Emotions? Pretty good this week!

How far along? 19 weeks!

Baby's size?  Tomato (6 inches, .5 lbs) And since when is a tomato 6 inches long!?

Gender? It's a baby girl! Rebekah Jo!

Maternity clothes? I went and updated my maternity clothes wardrobe this weekend thanks to the San Marcos Outlets. I don't know where my clothes from David's pregnancy went - I thought I saved everything... I can definitely still wear regular t-shirts, dresses, and "comfy" pants/shorts.

Stretch marks? No new ones yet.

Belly button in or out? In

Sleeping? I've been waking up quite a bit lately. Not always to go to the bathroom, but it's quite frustrating at times - I feel like I can never catch up on my sleep

Getting to see family and do a bit of shopping! I even got a few new things for sweet Rebekah's nursery.

Movement? Yes, but nothing consistent

What I'm looking forward to? Starting to decorate our nursery! More consistent movement! The anatomy ultrasound in 1 more weeks!

What I'm missing? Not too much at this point, besides sleeping well. :) That and sunny weather... I'm over the rain by this point!

Symptoms? Frequent potty breaks, exhaustion, food cravings/aversions, still the occasional nausea (although it's almost completely gone...  ::knock on wood::)

Milestones? Inching closer to the halfway point!

Emotions? Pretty good this week!

Baby's size?  Turnip (5 inches, 5 oz)

Gender? It's a baby girl! Rebekah Jo!
