37 Weeks with Rebekah Jo!

I actually took a picture, but can't find the cord to connect my camera to the computer... Stay tuned for that...

How far along? 37 weeks

Baby's size? Winter Melon (19-22 inches, 6.5 pounds) At my appointment last Tuesday, sweet baby was weighing in at 6 lbs, 6 oz!

Gender? It's a baby girl! Rebekah Jo!

Maternity clothes? Yes, minus a few t-shirts and dresses

Weight Gain? I'm hovering between 20-22 lbs. Which means I hopefully won't gain more than 25 pounds.

Stretch marks? Yup, but they're all below my belly button, which I guess is the best place to be...

Belly button in or out? In, but the very top is slightly sticking out. It looks extremely weird!

Sleeping? Some nights are good and some are not...

Foods I'm loving? Just about anything, especially hamburgers and Mexican food!!

Foods I'm hating? Nothing really!

Best moment this week? We finally completed RJ's nursery this weekend! I'll have to do a tour of her room soon.

Movement? Yes, but not as strong as before. She must be running out of room because I feel more stretching and rolling now as opposed to kicks and jabs.

What I'm looking forward to? Meeting our sweet girl and making the unknown known (more on that later...)!

What I'm missing? Sleep! Haha. And being able to get up/turn over with ease. Putting kiddos down for bedtime and naptime has started to become a bit rough...

Symptoms? Frequent potty breaks, exhaustion, food cravings/aversions, and my fingers and feet have started to swell a bit. I made the mistake of wearing too tight of shoes to church on Sunday and paid for that the rest of the day.

Milestones? 2 weeks to go! And I've gotten all of the bags back that I need to (from my hospital bag, to my after the hospital bag, to all the essentials you'll need when away from home for an unknown period of time).

Emotions? Ok... My spirits have been pretty good the last week. Still ready for Rebekah to get here and find out what all is happening. Praying for answers and peace for the remainder of the time I'm carrying our sweet girl!

36 Weeks with RJ!

How far along? 36 weeks

Baby's size? Large Cantaloupe (20 inches, 6 pounds) At my appointment yesterday, sweet baby was weighing in at 6 lbs, 6 oz!

And our sweet David has been waking up super early, which this non-morning person is not a fan of. Haha

Foods I'm loving? Just about anything, especially hamburgers and Mexican food!!

Foods I'm hating? Nothing really!

Best moment this week? Alan finished another flowerbed this weekend! It looks great! Two more to go... but those are going to wait until spring. I also finally got the nursery cleaned and organized!

Movement? Most definitely!

What I'm looking forward to? Meeting our sweet girl and making the unknown known (more on that later...)! Her letters arrived yesterday, so hopefully sometime this week Alan can get them up on the wall!!

What I'm missing? Sleep! Haha. And being able to get up/turn over with ease. Putting kiddos down for bedtime and naptime has started to become a bit rough...

Symptoms? Frequent potty breaks, exhaustion, food cravings/aversions, and my fingers have started to swell. I bet a lot of it is due to the heat, but it's still no fun...

Milestones? 3 weeks to go... We are delivering in Houston due to some unplanned events, so I will be induced at 39 weeks. Pray that I make it to my induction date (I don't want to drive to Houston in labor...) and for peace and answers once sweet Rebekah is here!

Emotions? Ok... I've had a couple rough weeks, but my spirits have been pretty high for the last week. Praying for answers and peace for the remainder of the time I'm carrying our sweet girl!

Maternity Pictures!

Like I mentioned, we took maternity pictures over the weekend! Maleigh from Canon Creek Photography took them and did a phenomenal job! She was able to catch all the personality of our sweet kiddos and I am so in love with how they turned out!

Both sides of Alan's family raises cotton, so when Maleigh suggested taking some of our pictures in a cotton field, I jumped on the idea! What a fun way to take pictures, but also honor the heritage of the Letz's and Riddle's.

35 Weeks with Rebekah Jo!

I'm cheating a little with this picture... We took maternity pictures over the weekend, so I'm going to use one of those. :) I spent the entire day today cooking/doing laundry, so I didn't get dressed nice enough to take pictures...

How far along? 35 weeks

Baby's size? Canary Melon (19-22 inches, 5.5 pounds) At our last ultrasound (Sept. 11), our perinatologist had her weighing in at 5 lbs, 13 oz.

Gender? It's a baby girl! Rebekah Jo!

Maternity clothes? Yes, minus a few t-shirts and dresses

Weight Gain? I know I didn't gain any weight between 32-34 weeks, so I'm guessing my total is around 20 lbs

Stretch marks? Yup, but they're all below my belly button, which I guess is the best place to be...

Belly button in or out? In, but the very top is slightly sticking out. It looks extremely weird!

Sleeping? Some nights are good and some are not...

Foods I'm loving? Just about anything!

Foods I'm hating? Nothing really!

Best moment this week? Having family in town for a diaper shower my sweet friends threw! And we finally took maternity pictures! They turned out amazing.

Movement? Most definitely!

What I'm looking forward to? Meeting our sweet girl and making the unknown known (more on that later...)! Also, her letters should be here this weekend, so hopefully we'll finish up Rebekah's room!

Milestones? 4 weeks to go... We are delivering in Houston due to some unplanned events, so I will be induced at 39 weeks. Pray that I make it to my induction date (I don't want to drive to Houston in labor...) and for peace and answers once sweet Rebekah is here!

Emotions? Ok... I've had a couple rough weeks, hence no weekly updates, but we're all good.
