David's Party: The Guests

In order to avoid a picture overload, I'm going to break this post up into a couple different posts. :)

We had David's birthday party the Saturday after his birthday (October 20). We invited quite a few people, but apparently it was a busy weekend and the beginning of the sickies season! :) Luckily, my parents, my Granny and Aunt Linda, and Alan's sister, Amber, and nephew, Jacob got to come! We had a super fun time and I wasn't stressed at all about having to keep everyone "entertained" (I tend to stress about those things way too much). We enjoyed some pizza, cake, playing outside, and just hanging out.

I just realized that we didn't get any pictures with Gammie or Pops or a family picture of the four of us... We'll have to do better next time! :)

David's First Birthday

I had to work on David's birthday, but we still made a point of taking him to dinner and then we came home to eat cupcakes afterwards. Normally, he eats anything and everything, but that night (we went to Olive Garden), all he ate was a breadstick and yogurt melts - he wouldn't even touch his pasta, which he loves! I guess he truly is a picky toddler now... ;)

David's First Taste of Cake

While we were in Texarkana at the beginning of October, we had a smash cake session with my Dad. He did a great job capturing some pictures of David and his cupcake. David didn't really seem to like his cupcake, so he definitely doesn't take after me or my side of the family... We LOOOVE sweets. :)

And he sees it...

I love this one!

And this one...

Fascinated with the balloons

He'd rather play with the balloons...

This was as messy as he got!
