Matching Pajamas Part One...

I have an addiction... I love to dress my kiddos in the same/coordinating outfits! They have their special Christmas pj's, but I also found some adorable penguin ones at Gymboree a couple weeks ago. They sure look cute!

Rebekah Jo is Two Months Old!

Rebekah Jo,
Another month has come and gone and I can't believe that you are already two months old! You are such a sweet baby girl and everyone who knows you adores you! You are starting to develop your own personality, and it is so fun to watch you begin to blossom into the little girl you will be. Your big sister and brother love to lavish attention on you, and are often a huge help if you need something small like a paci or a pat on the bottom or belly. We can't wait to celebrate your first Christmas. Your daddy and I love you to the moon and back!

Weight: 11 lbs. I think you would be a bit heavier, but you had RSV a week and a half ago and didn't eat great during that week. Luckily you never ran a temperature or seemed super sick. You just had a cough and stuffy nose.

Length: 22.5 inches

Diaper size: Size 1

Teeth: Not yet!

Clothes size: You're wearing 0-3 and 3 month size clothes. You do have a couple 3-6 month outfits that you can wear, too! They're a bit big, but still adorable on you!

Sleep: Towards the end of this month you have started sleeping much better! You go down for bed around 7:30-8:00, we do a dream feed at 10:30, and then you wake up anywhere from 1:30-3:30. Depending on when you eat in the middle of the night, you either eat again around 5 then wake up for the day around 7, or you wake up around 6:30 to eat and are up for the day! Nap wise, you still nap after every feeding. You've stretched your awake time to about an hour, but you still need those naps

Favorite activities/things: Sleeping, wiggling, smiling, and eating. :)

Eating: You eat every 2-3 hours during the day, and every 4-6 at night.

Nicknames: Punkin' bear, Little Bit

Talking: You've definitely started talking this month! Melts my heart every time!!

New adventures: You stayed with your first babysitter, aside from family, the day before you turned two months old. You sure do love your Mrs. Lizzie! Mommy also went back to work the week after Thanksgiving. You did a great job hanging out with Daddy one week, Gammie the next, and Gammie and Pops for the last two days!

New Skills: Grinning and cooing! You've also rolled over once. You're not a huge fan of being on the ground, otherwise I think you'd do it again. ;)

Onto the pictures - the best part!

She wasn't happy with me... ;)

Happy Thanksgiving!

We are having a low-key Thanksgiving in the Letz household this year. We decided to stay home and not travel with an almost 7 week old... Alan's sister and her family were planning on coming, but unfortunately, one of the kiddos got sick. :( Luckily, we had a traditional Thanksgiving meal with our small group Sunday, so today we're just going to grill steak and have some yummy sides with it!

I have been doing a better job of getting my camera out lately and decided that I needed some more pictures of our precious three kiddos... Both the big kids LOVE holding Rebekah Jo, so I made sure to take some with them holding her, as well as some with all three kiddos.

I told David to smile and this is what I got... Love it!!!

I hope everyone has a blessed Thanksgiving and enjoys time with family.

Rebekah Jo is One Month Old!

Rebekah Jo,
Wow, what a month it has been! You have completed our family in a way we could have never imagined. I know you've only been in here for a month, but you fit in so well that I can't imagine life without you. We all adore the littlest member of our family and your older brother and sister (and Mommy and Daddy) love to smother you with hugs, kisses, and all the attention there is. We found out that you are genetically as perfect as can be! What a blessing that is, especially after all the unknown that we went through while I was pregnant. Daddy and I love you more than words can express and we can't wait to watch you grow and develop!

Weight: We don't have a pediatrician appointment until RJ is two months old (so different from Houston), but according to my scales, RJ weighs 9 lbs, 9 oz. Elizabeth weighed around 8 lbs, 10 oz and David weighed 8 lbs, 15 oz when they turned a month old.

Length: 22 inches

Diaper size: Size 1 - We moved you from the newborn diapers to the size one diapers last week. They fit soo much better!

Teeth: Not yet!

Clothes size: You're wearing 0-3 and 3 month size clothes. You were in newborn clothes for only about 2 weeks - much different than your sister!

Sleep: If you are being held, you would sleep all day long, minus the time you are awake to eat. You LOVE being held!! You have started sleeping pretty well by yourself, for the most part! You weren't sleeping in our room, so we moved you to your crib last Saturday (11/7). Typically you go to bed somewhere between 7-8. Daddy gives you a bottle at 10, and then you'll sleep until 1-2. I'll go in and nurse you and you'll go right back to sleep. The rest of the night you'll go between 2 1/2-3 hours between eating. Granted, we might have to go in and give a paci and pat you some at night, but I'll take it!

Favorite activities/things: Sleeping, wiggling, and eating. :)

Eating: You eat every 2-3 hours still. At night, you'll go 3-4 hours, depending on the night.

Nicknames: Punkin' bear, Little Bit

Talking: You're somewhat starting to "coo" at us. It's not very often, but I do know you've done it!

New adventures: We've been super busy this month! You've gone everywhere and done everything!

New Skills: You hold your head up so well and turn it side to side. We've also seen a little grin a couple times! I can't wait until you're actually full on smiling!

Onto the pictures - the best part!

Four Weeks Old!

I'm holding a sleeping baby in my arms as I write this. Is there anything sweeter than a sleeping angel?

Weekend Wrap-Up

We had a relaxing and low-key weekend, yet still fun weekend in the Letz house!! Saturday, I went through all my clothes and packed away my maternity clothes for the last time. Crazy that I'm done with them, most likely for good.

We started putting this little one in her crib Saturday, too. She did a phenomenal job (and continues to do great!!)

We got to go to dinner with some of out friends for the evening. Good thing we picked a relatively noisy place... The kiddos were all riled up after being stuck inside all day because of the rain.

Sunday we took Rebekah to church for the first time. She did a great job in Sunday school- only cried once!

After church, our single school class headed to eat lunch together. We had a blast chatting with friends!

Elizabeth and Rebekah matched for church, so you know I had to take a picture. David's outfit coordinated, but his got dirty and he ran off before I could take his picture with the girls...
