Wow, what a month it has been! You have completed our family in a way we could have never imagined. I know you've only been in here for a month, but you fit in so well that I can't imagine life without you. We all adore the littlest member of our family and your older brother and sister (and Mommy and Daddy) love to smother you with hugs, kisses, and all the attention there is. We found out that you are genetically as perfect as can be! What a blessing that is, especially after all the unknown that we went through while I was pregnant. Daddy and I love you more than words can express and we can't wait to watch you grow and develop!
Weight: We don't have a pediatrician appointment until RJ is two months old (so different from Houston), but according to my scales, RJ weighs 9 lbs, 9 oz. Elizabeth weighed around 8 lbs, 10 oz and David weighed 8 lbs, 15 oz when they turned a month old.
Length: 22 inches
Diaper size: Size 1 - We moved you from the newborn diapers to the size one diapers last week. They fit soo much better!
Teeth: Not yet!
Clothes size: You're wearing 0-3 and 3 month size clothes. You were in newborn clothes for only about 2 weeks - much different than your sister!
Sleep: If you are being held, you would sleep all day long, minus the time you are awake to eat. You LOVE being held!! You have started sleeping pretty well by yourself, for the most part! You weren't sleeping in our room, so we moved you to your crib last Saturday (11/7). Typically you go to bed somewhere between 7-8. Daddy gives you a bottle at 10, and then you'll sleep until 1-2. I'll go in and nurse you and you'll go right back to sleep. The rest of the night you'll go between 2 1/2-3 hours between eating. Granted, we might have to go in and give a paci and pat you some at night, but I'll take it!
Favorite activities/things: Sleeping, wiggling, and eating. :)
Eating: You eat every 2-3 hours still. At night, you'll go 3-4 hours, depending on the night.
Nicknames: Punkin' bear, Little Bit
Talking: You're somewhat starting to "coo" at us. It's not very often, but I do know you've done it!
New adventures: We've been super busy this month! You've gone everywhere and done everything!
New Skills: You hold your head up so well and turn it side to side. We've also seen a little grin a couple times! I can't wait until you're actually full on smiling!
Onto the pictures - the best part!
