Sweet Potatoes!

We started David on sweet potatoes a couple days after he turned 5 months old. I was hoping to hold out until 6 months, but we went ahead and tried now, with the thoughts that if he wasn't ready, we'd try again in a couple of weeks. The first day, he ate about 1.5 ounces of pureed sweet potatoes! Since then, he'd eat as much as I offered him... he opens his mouth and lunges for the spoon! He wasn't messy in the beginning, but he sure is now...
