David is 3 Months Old!!

Dear David,

Another month has come and gone and I can't believe you're already one fourth of the way to your first birthday! Maybe it has something to do with the fact that we're transitioning from Houston to a new city (and to Texarkana in between), but each month just goes by super fast! You're learning so much each day that I can't quite keep up with what is going on, but I'm loving every milestone! Your Daddy and I love you very much.

Love,
Mommy and Daddy

Weight: somewhere around 12 1/2 pounds

Length: around 24 inches

Diaper size: Size 2!

Teeth: Not yet!

Clothes size: You're wearing 3-6 month and 6 month clothes!

Sleep: During the day, you'll typically only sleep in your crib for 30-45 minutes at a time. After you wake up (and multiple times trying to get you back down), I'll move you to your swing where you'll finish your nap. At night, you give me anywhere from 2-5 hours and you generally sleep very well in your crib. It just depends on the night. :)

Favorite activities/things: Sleeping, wiggling, eating, smiling, and talking. :)

Eating: Most of the time you eat every 3 hours during the day, with random 2 hour intervals thrown in there for good measure. At night, you go anywhere from 3-5 hours, but you sometimes wake up more than you eat.

Nicknames: Little Man, Bubba

Talking: You've become quite the talkative little man! You love making noise, and we love to hear it!

New adventures: You had your first Christmas and first Texas road trip! We went to Abilene and Texarkana, and then headed back to Texarkana for you, Mommy, and Elizabeth to hang out while we wait to move

New Skills: You still hold up your head really well. Rolling and smiling are also big. A great new skill is waking up happy! Most of the time whenever you wake up (except in the middle of the night) you're so happy and smiley! It makes it such a joy to go in to get you.

I didn't get any official 3 month pictures in the chair since we were in Texarkana... So these will have to do. :)
