Pictures from our time in Abilene/road trip to Texarkana.
I put Elizabeth in her toy basket to see what she would do. She just sat and stared at it for the longest time. Finally, Daddy got her attention and managed to get a couple smiles out of her.
We ended up deciding to leave Abilene a day early (so we left the 23 instead of the 24). The weather was supposed to get yucky with some ice and snow, so in order to stay safe, we left that morning right when Elizabeth was ready for a nap. She did much better on the trip from Abilene to Texarkana! It's a good thing we left, because it did get somewhat icy in Abilene on Friday the 24. We were sad to leave early, but so thankful we had fun at Grammie and PawPaw's house!
