Christmas Day

On the morning of December 25, Alan and I woke up bright and early to get ready for Elizabeth's first Christmas morning. Once Miss E woke up, we lined up on the stairs and waiting to head into the living room, where our Santa presents awaited. I held Elizabeth as we walked into the room. Santa treated Elizabeth so good - he brought her a Princess Cozy Coupe and trailer, with a ginormous caterpillar inside. After Elizabeth played with her new car, we went and ate breakfast so we would make it to church in time. She had her first bite of deer sausage, and she loved it! We headed to church my parents church, where Elizabeth got loved on by one of the nursery workers. Thankfully, she did great in the new nursery!

After church, we headed back home for a quick lunch before opening presents from each other. Elizabeth sure loved all the toys she got!

The rest of the day was pretty laid back. Elizabeth got to see Miss Amy, but she was rather clingy and just wanted to look at her. My grandparents also came by for the afternoon.

We headed to bed early because we knew we had to be out of the house by 5:30 to catch our 11am flight out of DFW.

Again... pictures will be here later... waiting on the CD. :)
